Become an Online User
If you obtained your Outdoors Card number from an authorized vendor or Service New Brunswick centre, please fill in the fields below and click "Next" in order to become an online user.
Information you will need to complete the online activation of your account:
- Your Outdoors Card number (can be found on your paper licence or plastic card)
- Date of birth
- Phone number (used at time of registration)
- Unique email address (required for each online user)
- Unique password (at least 8 characters long and containing at least: one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character (e.g. ! # $ =)

Information about buying online:
- To buy a bear, deer, moose, or wild turkey licence online, you will need blue tags. These licences require a physical tag, and the tag number must be entered at the time of purchase. You can get blue tags and wires at any authorized vendor (store), Natural Resources and Energy Development (DNRED) office, and Service New Brunswick (SNB) location. If you are outside of New Brunswick and you need a tag number, please contact Fish & Wildlife at 506-453-3826, [email protected], or contact your local guide or outfitter.
- To print your licence, you will need to have a printer and Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer. A printer is not needed to apply for a draw.
- Your licence must be printed and signed after you buy it, and you must carry it with you while angling, hunting, and trapping.
- If you do not wish to purchase a licence online, you may visit an authorized vendor.
- For your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and select Interac® debit cards for online purchases.
- DNRED and SNB do not keep credit card or debit card numbers or associated data. All payments are made through a secure website.
Personal information collected on this application form is collected under the authority of the Fish and Wildlife Act, SNB 1980, F-14.1, ss. 82.1 and s. 85 and will be used to determine eligibility for Outdoors Card registration and fish and wildlife licences. Personal information collected will be disclosed to the Department of Justice and Public Safety and Service New Brunswick for the purpose of verifying residency.
